Glass Rose bowls take two forms, depending on whether you are using the American definition or the European one. The American rose bowls are spherical with crimped tops like the one in the picture top left or very similar. European rose bowls have screw-on metal lids with holes (similar to a salt shaker) that help to arrange the roses. These were a common item in Victorian homes.
