These Millefiore pieces are wonderfully colorful. The process for creating millefiore dates back to ancient Rome. Millefiore pieces are created by the grouping together of many very small colored glass rods. The rods are melted together to form an image, such as these flowers. They are then cut into disks and blown into forms. |
