Paper Weights |

Paper weights are also sometimes known as glass dumps. These dumps are usually seen as paperweights if they are tall and good quality, or they may be door stops if they are squat, poor quality, and have been damaged by years of abuse. They are ovoid or round in form with a flattened base, and usually made of green bottle glass. They often have internal decorations made from metal foil like or air bubble patterns, or a design of flowers like the one shown below. |
