Glass Baskets

             These baskets are more art objects that Victorians would have had around to decorate their homes. They may have had an everyday use for trinkets or candy. Often these type of gifts were given as wedding gifts, so they became known as “wedding baskets”.

The top two baskets (above and right) are located in the secretary bookcase in the music rooms.
