June 25, 2008: PALM Tour, Special Admission Rates
If you are a member of the PALM Ride, tour the Thompson Museum for just $4.00 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
June 26, 2008: Lenawee County Historical Society, Special Hours
In honor of the LCHS coming to Hudson for their annual meeting, the Thompson Museum will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The LCHS meeting will be held at the Hudson American Legion, and will feature Ray Lennard, curator of the Thompson Museum talking about the 100th anniversary of Hudson (back in 1933). The public is invited. For more information, contact the Lenawee County Historical Museum at 517-265-6071.
June 28, 2008: Hudson Alumni Association, Special Hours
In honor of the Hudson Schools Reunion, the Thompson Museum will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the returning Hudsonites!
August 2, 2008: 2nd Annual William G. Thompson Memorial Flower Show, Lost Arts on the Porch, & Roger Ponn Associates
Plan now to enter your best annuals, perennials, floral arrangements, vegetables, or nature photographs in our Flower Show! Open to all ages, and prizes will be awarded. For application and information about the show, click here.
In addition to the Flower Show, we will again host a group of artist who feature crafts from the past. We will be hosting basket weavers, blacksmiths, wood turners, painters, and more on our porch.
Roger Ponn will join us to offer verbal opinions of value for your treasured family heirlooms in an “Antiques Roadshow” style program in our new visitor’s center.
