Visiting the Museum

Hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with tours starting at 12:30 pm and the last tour of the day departing at 3:30 pm.  Tours of the Museum last approximately 60 to 80 minutes.

The Museum is also open by appointment, for both group tours and individual tours.  Click here to request a special viewing.

 

To assist in defraying costs of operation, the William G. Thompson Foundation Board of Directors approved the following admission rates on July 19, 2005:

  • Adults – $7.50
  • Seniors/Students (with ID) – $5.00
  • Children 15 and under – $3.00
  • Children 5 and under – FREE

Note:  Children under 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult

The Museum is easy to find, located just three blocks south on Market Street from M-34, at the corner of Market and Summit Streets.  Parking is located in the driveway behind the house, with the entrance at the top of the wheelchair ramp.
